The Gas Tax Holiday?

I was a bit concerned that gas wasn’t going to get to $4 a gallon by Memorial Day. Alas, a ray of hope still remains… $.18 to go! I just don’t think the local gas stations are applying themselves.

Am I supposed to believe that gas prices are going to actually drop by $.18 a gallon if the Gas Tax Holiday goes through? Let’s say it does that’s <$4.00 per a tank that cost $70.

I think what is more likely is that prices will stay the same and oil companies will be pocketing the the tax… So, who is the holiday for?
