Complain About X-Rated Security Screenings

“A spokesman said that out of 2 billion passengers screened nationwide since 9-11, there have been only 110,000 abuse complaints.” (link)

Not too bad… unless your one of the 110,000.

I had a bad dream about this the other night, no-doubt brought on by the stress of our up-coming trip.

I respect the difficult job the TSA is asked to do. Plus they have to deal with stressed out travelers all day. However… relax there constable it’s a prosthetic leg!

Yanks don’t seem to realise how much of a symbol their country is, how reflexively and unthinkingly foreigners use it to assign blame or take random pot-shots: it’s like when you’re at school and make fun of the teachers, giving them unseen peccadilos and lurid home lives. Suddenly the teacher was humanised, made ‘one of us’, struck by a real-life tragedy; for the first time, we felt protective of America….TheoPanayidesTheo Panayides, film critic, on 9/11
